Vancouver: Ready to Lock & Loden
The "best city in the Americas" just got even better.
Hollywood North is about to get a dose of LA cool. Next spring, Kor Hotel Group is set to open the Loden Vancouver, located in the city’s up-and-coming tony neighborhood of Coal Harbour. The first new hotel to be built in Vancouver for five years, the spectactular Hewitt & Kwasnicky design was modeled on ocean waves by way of curved glass and natural stone. Interiors are created by Babey Moulton Jue & Booth, the team who recently revamped Grand Hotel a Villa Feltrinelli, the fabled country mansion on Lake Garda, Italy. And if you get to pull yourself from Loden’s rooftop bar and pool, you’ll find Stanley Park — Canada’s largest urban park — just a few minutes’ walk away. Vancouver itself? Conde Nast Traveler readers have voted it the Best City in the Americas for the past three years running. Enough said.
