The Limes Hotel opens today in Queensland’s capital city, Brisbane. The first Design Hotel member Down Under, the 21-room boutique sits in the center of Brisbane’s nightlife district, Fortitude Valley. In addition to its distinctive abstract façade and understated modern interiors, The Limes boasts a rooftop bar. For now, guests can enjoy tapas and breakfast there but come September (the stirrings of the southern hemisphere’s spring), the terrace will transform into an outdoor cinema, screening films for guests and the public alike.
