In light of the arctic chill that has gripped the UK, Holiday Inn has come up with an alarming unusual way to keep guests toasty. Instead of hot water bottles or roaring fireplaces, a few properties are offering human bed warmers.

Upon request, a staffer will suit up in a fleece onesie and “move around” in a guest’s bed for five minutes to elevate the temperature to 68 degrees Fahrenheit (no further questions, your honor). Ever the professionals, Holiday Inn will validate the toasty temp with a thermometer.

The gratis service is currently being tested on a trial run through Monday at Holiday Inn London Kensington Forum, Holiday Inn Kingston South and Holiday Inn Manchester Park.
