Winter hits Orlando today in the form of ICEBAR, a year-round nightspot carved from 50 tons of ice. While it claims to be the first permanent ice bar in the US, the lounge will be renewed and reshaped every six months. Guests fend off the 27-degree temperature with thermal capes and gloves — because even drinks are served in ice glasses. Before frostbite sets in, revelers can move into the adjacent “Chill Lounge,” a more conventional club with Nordic décor and caviar flights.
