Manicure, pedicure, nose-job? Harvey Nichols — globorati’s favorite Knightsbridge store — claims to have ushered in a singular pedigree of spa experience to the British Isles. Its new Beyond Spa, you see, is a medispa — which brings together all the standard treatments of a beauty salon with an onsite team of plastic surgeons, dermatologists and medical aestheticians. Among the services provided are teeth whitening, laser skincare therapies and Botox. Five treatment rooms are available by appointment, and the spa even does its own cosmeceutical line of skincare products, pH Advantage.

If you fancy mixing your cosmetic tinkering with a spot of retail therapy under one roof, you might consider the Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park’s shopping package. The hotel is now punting their Harvey Nichols Shopping Experience, which includes a £5,000 voucher to spend at the department store. But there’s more — the package is in fact a privately tailored shopping spree, for which you get to exclusively access the store for one hour after closing time. You’re also dispatched your own dedicated personal shopper to help you navigate Harvey Nick’s eight floors of fashion, home and beauty. Oh, and just one thing you don’t need us to tell you: their sale ends January 31.
