Girlie-men, pass by. This one’s for retrosexuals. The Fairmont Chateau Whistler has just announced its new high-testosterone vacation package — and it’s everything that the mancation is not. Instead of a Vegas-style bonding trip based on beer and poker and strippers, the resort wants “to welcome back all the retrosexual men of the world” and invite them to zip it. Or rip it, or swing it. Fairmont’s new Mountain Adventure Package, you see, is all about embracing the outdoor wonderland of North America’s favorite resort town. And with the 550-room chateau set between Blackcomb and Whistler mountains, you’ll be able to ziptrek across treetops, heli-ski (until June 3), raft through rapids, or four-wheel it in a hummer. The CDN $198 (around $180) deal includes lodging, a monster breakfast buffet and $100 credit towards your preferred extreme activity. And yes, women are allowed to purchase the package, too. In fact, ladies are invited to indulge in their own same-sex celebration at the Fairmont’s two-night Girls Pajama Party package, April 27-29. And no, men cannot participate.
