What do a few Shakespearean plays, West Side Story and Roberto Benigni have in common? They’ll all be at Madrid’s 24th annual Summer in the City festival, a 60-day fiesta of concerts, plays, film screenings and performances (over 1,000 in all) that’s just underway. From June 30 to July 2, Benigni will perform his one-man show  “Tutto Dante” — which sold out to a star-studded crowd in New York earlier this month. While tickets start at $40, there are plenty of free performances too, including sunset serenades by string quartets in Madrid’s Plaza Mayor, July 7-10.
