After a yearlong renovation, The Peninsula Hotel in New York debuts a tri-level rooftop spa by ESPA this week. The 35,000-square-foot spa features 12 new treatment rooms, an Asian tea lounge, and a menu offering European, Ayurvedic and Asian-inspired treatments. Highlights of the spa’s design include a curving three-story staircase and a 24-karat gold mosaic flanking an ice fountain in the Thermal Suite.
