Nobu: The Hotel

Nobu, the high-end Japanese-fusion restaurant, recently announced plans to build a five-star hotel in Lower Manhattan. The 62-story glass tower is expected to open in 2010 near the New York Stock Exchange. Dubbed Nobu Hotel and Residences, it will boast 128 rooms, wine and sake cellars, film screening rooms, a health club and the city’s fourth Nobu restaurant. While it marks the restaurant’s first foray into hotels, Nobu co-owner Robert De Niro cut his teeth in April when he opened the Greenwich Hotel. You can read all about it here.
