Shangri-La makes its North American debut tomorrow with the opening of the Shangri-La Hotel Vancouver. The 119-room property occupies the first 15 stories of Vancouver’s tallest building, and was designed to meet LEED standards. Chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten brings star power with an outpost of Market, while Shangri-La’s custom spa brand CHI makes its North American introduction, offering Chinese and Himalayan-inspired treatments.
