To celebrate its 80th anniversary, the Leading Hotels of the World is inviting guests to stay at nearly 100 of its 430 member hotels for $19.28 per night. Starting today, the public can pre-register online, in order to expedite the booking process, which opens for only 80 minutes on October 1 at 8am EST/ 12 noon GMT.

The offer turns the tables on LHW’s other birthday package — an ultra-lavish “Around the World in 80 Ways” trip that sells for $1 million per couple. Participating hotels in the $19.28 package, such as the James (Chicago), the Langham (London) and Banyan Tree Bangkok, will mark the 1928 founding of the historic hotel membership organization. With their standard rates averaging $450, the properties will also be providing a discount of over 95 percent.
