Supernanny Aphrodite

How parents can turn up the romance — while catering to junior’s every whim.

Baby paraphernalia-ailia. A common parental disorder experienced when packing for a trip with a little one. The antidote, according to family-friendly, five-star Anassa: their new Baby Go Lightly online concierge service. Parents heading to the Leading Hotels resort — set on one of the loveliest beaches in Cyprus — get to pre-order all of Junior’s daily must-haves. Warm milk at bedtime? Of course. Bouncy chairs, swim diapers, puzzles, flotation aids, organic food — whatever your progeny’s predilection, just place your request before traveling and you’ll find the items in-room on arrival.

Once on site, parents can avail themselves of the Baby Go Lightly Crèche, which debuts March 20 (having been introduced at Anassa’s sister property, Almyra, last year), with childcare and stimulating activities for tots between six months and four years. Older sibs need not feel neglected, either: The Smiling Dolphin Kiddies Club is available for four to 11-year-olds, freeing up parents to luxuriate in the hotel’s newly refurbished Thalassa Spa or sample four gourmet restaurants. (Baby goes lightly but parents could come back heavy.) Oh, and just one packing tip: Nearby romantic hotspots include the fabled Baths of Aphrodite and the Fontana Amorosa (Fountain of Love); use that extra suitcase room for articles sexier than baby wipes.
