Which hotels are hooking up guests with high-tech toys?

Toothpaste, shoe polish — hotels have long supplied guests with easy-to-forget items. But now you can even leave your high-tech amenities at home. Five Rosewood properties in the U.S., Mexico and the Caribbean have begun offering guests the use of high-definition digital camcorders. Instead of an instruction manual, your concierge will give you a thorough tuturial, and will even copy your videos to a DVD or upload them to YouTube upon checkout. Meanwhile, The Lanesborough in London has just outfitted each room with a Sony VAIO laptop, complete with complimentary WiFi. The St. Regis property is the first hotel to do so in London.
